From Nelson-via-Kyoto winemaker Yuki Nakano. This is mostly pinot noir grown on clay. Which was fermented and aged in Spanish amphora.  Medium-bodied, with fine tannic structure and a compact core of savoury dark red fruit, and with a regional and distinctly saline edge which makes the wine fantastic with a variety of foods.
